About
My name is Pam Bryan. I’m a business coach with a passion for working with creative professionals.
My background includes over 30 years creative and small business experience in five countries. My clients are skilled professionals looking to grow their business, rekindle the passion for their work, improve their productivity or make a change – faster.
My Clients
My clients are successful individuals who know a lot and have achieved a lot. They are committed to personal and business growth. Money is important but it’s not just about the money. They are naturally curious, avoid boredom and are ready to learn and grow.
They are ready to reach out for the life they dream about and “work smarter, not harder.”
Our Work Together
My clients are complex, multifaceted people and we have much to learn from each other. We work in a collaborative partnership to define goals and create action plans that produce measurable results.
Our work is balanced, keeping business focused and under control to support a satisfying personal and family life. And we absolutely must have a bit of fun together along the way!
Professional Background
My creative small business career started in a bindery and silkcreen shop in 1975 and progressed through working in the fine paper, printing, publishing and software industries. During over 30 years’ of business experience I’ve held corporate and small business management positions in sales, marketing, business development and product development. In 2002 a lifetime of learning culminated in the launch of my coaching practice.
Every step of the way I have worked with creative teams finding ways to successfully marry the desire to do great work with the need to earn a profit. Opportunities have led me to live and work in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and now France.
Education
As an incurable life-long learner I believe in just-in-time learning to get the job done. After 30 years’ of real life business experience I completed a Master of Business Administration with Distinction degree from Heriot-Watt University in 2002. Prior formal education includes: diplomas in Business Administration from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and Management Development and Information Technology Management from the University of Calgary.
To meet the needs of my clients I am a

- One Page Business Plan Licensed Consultant
- Smart Match Alliances Certified Trainer
Personal Notes
As a leader and coach I believe a “healthy body = healthy mind” To keep this life balance I cycle, hike and work in my brand new garden. After 20 years’ in competitive cycling I’m now enjoying a slightly quieter life. My husband of 21 years has been my partner in all things and we share a great sense of adventure.
The latest adventure is our new home on a hillside in the Dordogne region of France. The Internet allows me to work with and support my clients – no matter where in the world they are.
This adventure has included becoming a Reiki Practictioner Level 2 and learning energy healing techniques for relaxation and rejuvenation. Reiki worked great on the pain as I recovered from four rounds of shoulder surgery after a cycling accident and now helps me re-focus before a coaching session or when I just want to think clearly. Very interesting stuff. Discovering this has delightfully turned some of my ‘in the box’ thinking upside down. See the Personal Resources page for more…
